Video teaching

The main objective of the project is to develop educators digital competences, and promote video education as the main tool for digital teaching.

With VIDEOTEACH we promote video education in rural areas, by providing rural teachers with competences and tools covering digital and video necessities for video education.

The skill needs analysis

In order to assure a strong link between the Project Results and the world of work, partners have analysed their national skill needs, based on their experience and professional opinions, and using existing EPALE reports, interviews and surveys, and using the VET Experts Network.

During the project period, we will work out:

  • Competence profile for future video teachers, based on EU qualification structures and quality priciples, following the classification of European Skills, Competences, Qualifications and Occupations (ESCO) and DigComp
  • Methodology to create an analysis of teacher video skills, competence recognition and training needs identification
  • Online video course that will review all the necessary competences defined in the Competence profile, completing the gaps that any teacher needed for a proper transformation of analogic learning units into a full effective digital training
  • Video Teaching content for green industry (Solar PV selfconsumption; VideoTeach Solar PV power plants; VideoTeach Solar Thermal; VideoTeach Aerothermal pumps)
